Lake Tyrone has long been a fishing haven. The lake has an abundance of bass, blue gill, sun fish, crappie, that are easy to catch almost any day of the year. We also enjoy some larger fish like walleye and northern pike. We stock on a scheduled basis walleye, pike, and perch. We enjoy both ice fishing in the winter and both shore and fishing from our boats in the summer.
We now have two fishing tournaments for kids. One in the summer around the 4th of July and one in the winter as part of our Winter Fest on the ice. They are both open to kids 12 and under.
Adults also have winterfest ice fishing tournament.
Lake Tyrone follows all state fishing regulations see DNR website for fishing regulations found at this link: http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-153-10364—,00.html
