WinterFest 2016 – CANCELLED

News-Newsletter  Comments Off on WinterFest 2016 – CANCELLED
Feb 112016

WinterFest 2016 scheduled for this Saturday Feb 13th has be Cancelled.

Due to safety concerns about the thickness of the ice on the lake we are cancelling the Winterfest for this year. Test holes around the lake only showed 4-5 inches. In addition, because of the upcoming weather forecast we don’t feel enough ice will form to warrant trying to pick a new date for this year.

Please be safe if you choose to host a party on your own. One or two people around a fishing whole may (MAY) be safe but a group and/or a group with vehicles could be downright dangerous. We have already had one death in the area falling through the ice, so let’s just be safe.
